Dr Nima Rudd Cardiologist In Templestowe, Boronia & Mildura. He is an experienced cardiologist and has been practicing medicine for more than 20 years ( since 1999 when he started as an Intern doctor). Besides completed his cardiology training at The Alfred Hospital he also has extensive experience in all aspects of cardiology including coronary artery disease , Valvular heart disease , arrhythmia and advanced heart failure requiring home inotropes, left and right ventricular assist devices, and management of cardiac transplant patients. Moreover he also performs coronary and graft angiography (radial (Dr Rudd’s preferred approach in the past 10 years)& femoral access(rarely only if required) and implants permanent pacemakers , defibrillators and loop recorders.

Further Dr Nima Rudd is accredited to perform Interventional procedures including defibrillator and pacemaker implantation at Mildura base Hospital and Warringal private hospital. In addition to this he also performs procedures including coronary and graft angiography and pacemaker & defibrillator implementation at Knox private hospital.

Dr Rudd, fluent in English and Persian languages.

Dr Rudd has been actively involved in research and clinical trials and has a significant research background with numerous scientific presentations, abstracts and publications. He worked as a cardiology research fellow at The Northern Hospital and coordinated numerous cardiovascular clinical trials.

Dr Rudd has been committed to educating junior doctors, medical students and other health professionals on a regular basis and has been senior clinical lecturer at the University of Melbourne since 2014.
